Thursday, Round 1 "This is my fifth day here. Monday was my first round of links golf, so I've played 27 holes before I played the first round today. I've never been to Europe." - Jackson Suber So much for links golf experience..? Round 1 concluded at approximately 10:00 p.m. local time in Southport. The first tee time was 6:35 a.m. A mere 15+ hours of golf were played on Thursday! The morning wave took advantage of perfect Open Championship conditions, registering almost a full stroke...

Tommy Boy 🇬🇧

Genesis story Like many of you, I woke up early on Sunday morning to watch golf. As I rolled over to get out of bed, I picked up my phone. It was the obligatory (immediate) international leaderboard check. A common tradition for the RTL community as the LPGA plays eight events overnight throughout the year. One quick prayer, and then slide up the standings. Oh wow! The Scottish was going well and Brooke Henderson was making a run in France. Two eagles on her front nine, one a hole-in-one, and...

Two week tour Get those alarm clocks ready, the PGA TOUR is going trans-Atlantic for two weeks starting with the co-sanctioned Genesis Scottish Open. I'm not sure it shouldn't be TRI-sanctioned as we have LIV players in the field as well! For the first time in a few years, some of the biggest names on the LIV Golf tour will be competing against Scottie, Rory, and the rest of the PGA TOUR in a non-major. Seven LIV guys total will go against 65 more DP World Tour card holders and 84 PGA TOUR...

Deere + Fourth... finale? A little less than 250 years in the making, the John Deere Classic has been a blue-chip sponsor on the PGA TOUR. Only one other current sponsor, AT&T, has owned a longer run in partnership with Ponte Vedra Beach. As we all listened to Brian Rolapp last week in Connecticut, one theme rang out through the TOUR's talking points: things are going to change. We've all heard the rumors of the PGA TOUR asking John Deere to move their event to Chicago. I think we all...

2025 RTL Winner! Series ending episode CROMWELL, CT Congratulations to Wyndham Clark and his team for a second US Open victory. I certainly can't think of two better venues to win our national championship than Los Angeles Country Club and Shinnecock Hills Golf Club. Much has been written about Clark, the fans, and the USGA. Outside of seeing how he continues to handle himself on and off the course, I'm interested to watch Wyndham's career evolve. Can Clark win a different major championship....
